Meet the Team

In November of 2010, Julie Bex purchased the RE/MAX 100 Auction Team/River Realty & Auction from Harold Helm and formed Auction Professionals of Kentucky, an Independently Minority Owned Company.  She had previously worked for RE/MAX 100 Auction Team as the Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator for the past 11 years.  Julie is a graduate of Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa, with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations.  In March 2006 she completed the 3 year course for the Certified Auctioneers Institute, which is the highest designation, awarded in the auction industry. In 2010, the RE/MAX 100 Auction Team earned two awards for best real estate brochure. She has also served on numerous Benefit Auction committees: March of Dimes, DePaul School, The Family Place, Boy Scouts of America to name a few.

In December of 1999, River Realty & Auction Company moved its operation into RE/MAX 100 Inc. when Harold and Mark Helm purchased that company. It is the corporate entity where Harold Helm and his team conduct their auctions, which are advertised under the RE/MAX, 100 name. During his career, Harold and his companies have sold and closed over 800 different parcels of real estate in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and Florida at public auction. The company owner is licensed as a broker and auctioneer in both Kentucky and Indiana and has over 30 years experience in selling assets and conducting auctions in seven states and one foreign country.  Harold Helm is a member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute, the Kentucky, Indiana and National Auctioneers Associations, and is past President of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association. He is an accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE). He received the CCIM Designation (Commercial-Investment Member of the Realtors National Marketing Institute) in 1988.  In 1998, he received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award for sales service and sales volume. He is an Elder in the New Goshen Presbyterian Church, a past director of the Metro United Way and of the Better Business Bureau. He is a member of Louisville Rotary Club and a graduate of Princeton University. Also, he has both the E-Pro and Real Estate Cyber Society designation for Internet marketing.
